Our inspiration
As a child and then as an adult, the horses that captivated my interest were the black horses like Black Beauty. Later it was the black and whites - particularly the black overos. When I first got into owning paints, I mainly owned black tobianos - mostly homozygous blacks...But I really envied those flashy black overo stallions so popular in the late 1990's. They were just out of league back then. Now that I have a little more time and a few more dollars, I want to try and recreate what I remember. Hopefully, you will join us for the journey!
